Grant Programs

The United Way of Tuscarawas County supports local organizations and programs through different funding opportunities. See below to learn more about each funding opportunity available to local nonprofits and educational programs!

Community Impact Funds are available on a monthly rolling deadline. Requests should be submitted by the first Tuesday of the month. Typical grants are funded for $100-$2,000 and go toward one-time costs or annual events. See what we’ve funded in the past here.

Opioid funds are distributed as needed. Applicants must meet grant requirements: the money must be going to support the prevention, education, and recovery of those affected by opioid addiction. Grants are available up to $20,000.

Program Funding is available every 3 years with a new application opening June 1, 2026 and closing August 31, 2026. Funding begins in January of 2027 and will continue through December 2029, pending review of mid-year and year-end reports. Typical grants are funded for $2,500-$25,000 per year. Programs funded through United Way automatically become Partner Agencies and are featured on much of our campaign marketing!

Sponsorship opportunities are welcome, but there are limited funds for this purpose.
