 What’s a Campaign Solicitor?

Solicitors help to deliver and pick up campaign packets to local businesses who want to participate in the United Way’s annual campaign!

What is the time commitment?

As much or as little time as you are able to commit! If you can deliver just a few packets for businesses near your own, it won’t take you much time at all!

How many packets need delivered?

We put together around 250 packets to be delivered to local businesses and organizations.

Do I need to go through a training?

No need for a lengthy training! You can head over to our website to see all you need to know about our annual campaign (check out our campaign page and keep reading!), or stop by our office with questions!

What will I actually do?

Sign up to be the “point person” for a business packet here. You can sign up for as many or as few businesses as you feel you’re able to support. Once you sign up, arrange a time to pick up your packets with Hannah or Sarah by calling 330-343-7772. When employees have completed their pledge forms, the business will either drop off their packet to the United Way or get in touch with you to pick up the packet (we can help with this part if necessary).

What does the packet look like?

See below for what the envelope looks like! You’ll add your name and number to the area shown so businesses can get in touch for packet pick-up. Inside the envelope, there are several copies of the pledge form with the brochure on the back and one copy of the campaign fact sheet!
