Dolly Parton often shares how her mother filled their home with music, storytelling and endless imagination, planting seeds that blossomed into a passion for creativity. This Mother’s Day, honor the women who inspire us to Dream More, Learn More, Care More and Be More by donating to #DollysLibrary, inspiring a love of reading in children. Visit

Last week, we were proud to honor Robin Waltz with the Vic Marsh Award for the 2024 Campaign Season. While introducing Robin, Elizabeth Stephenson shared the four qualities that Robin has that have made her a great leader:
1. Passion for people and for our community generally
2. Compassion for those who are less fortunate
3. Positive attitude and cheerfulness
4. An Intelligent Planner
Join us in congratulating Robin Waltz!

Last week, Sarah and Hannah attended the 211 Advocacy Day in Columbus! Sarah visited Representative Salvo, while Hannah visited Senator Landis. Folks from United Ways all over the state joined to advocate for state-wide access to 211 services!

Our United Way staff is out of the office today to head to Columbus for 211 Advocacy Day! A volunteer will still be available from 9:00 AM to Noon and 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM to help with VITA Tax Return pick-up!
